Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how URIZON SOFTWARE, of Leisure, Kisauni District, Nyali, P.O. We process personal data in accordance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and its regulations.

1. Information We Collect

• Information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, company details and the contents of messages you send through our contact form, by email or by phone.
• Client project information: business, contact and billing details shared with us in the course of a quotation or engagement.
• Technical information: standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, used for security and reliability.
• App information: for applications we publish under our own name, the specific data collected is described in the app's store listing and in-app disclosures. Applications we build for clients are governed by the client's own privacy policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to enquiries and prepare quotations.
• To deliver, support and invoice the services you engage us for.
• To operate, secure and improve our website and applications.
• To comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data on the basis of your consent, the performance of a contract with you, compliance with legal obligations, or our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business, as permitted under the Data Protection Act, 2019.

4. Cookies and Third-Party Services

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may store a small preference (such as display settings) locally. To load the website, your browser connects to third-party providers including Google Fonts and Unsplash (for images), which may receive your IP address in line with their own privacy policies.

5. Sharing Your Information

We share personal data only with trusted service providers who help us operate our business — for example hosting, email delivery and payment processing providers — and only to the extent needed to provide their services. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Enquiry messages are typically kept for up to 24 months; client and financial records are retained for the periods required by Kenyan law.

7. Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and secure hosting — to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Your Rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to:

• be informed of how your personal data is used;
• access the personal data we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate data or deletion of data;
• object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time;
